If you prefer presumably perfect gurus who give advice straight from degrees rather than the school of hard knocks then this book is not for you. If you are not willing to imagine that your life can be more than it is right now, then this book is not for you. And if you feel uneasy with real life stories about implementing modern magic then this book is not for you either.

To put it most simply, if you came to the party to judge then keep going. Don’t bother to read this and you’ll spare yourself the wasted time and spare me the bad reviews.

I am Carrie only if she was a Caribbean American chica, living in a real NYC apartment, directing erotica, dating madmen and whoring her talents out on a reality show. I am about as much Carrie as my kitty cat Anabelle.

Bombshell Defined

The traditional definition of a “bombshell” was of an attractive woman or sex symbol oozing with sex appeal, like Marilyn Monroe, Pam Grier, Brigette Bardot, Sophia Loren, Lil Kim. Yes, Lil Kim! Then there’s also the definition of a shock or unexpected event as in the senator dropped a political bombshell. It is no accident that bombshell also means to drop a surprising bomb, good or bad, into someone’s life. For this book we’re combining and expanding those definitions.
When I say the word “bombshell” I mean a woman who owns herself and is comfortable in her own power. For the readers of this book a bombshell is a woman has learned to fearlessly access her female magic, her mojo. A bombshell is a KAW. Kick ass woman in full ownership of herself like first ladies like Eleanor Roosevelt and Michelle Obama. A bombshell is force of nature. Her very presence shifts the Teutonic plates of the earth. She is flesh and blood female energy in unconditional love with her womanly self.

This is a book about how to be your own bombshell and take over the world by loving yourself. I promise you that when you do, you will manifest the life of your dreams. The Official Bombshell Handbook is a guide on how to live and love without fear.

As for the sex symbol part. Yes, this book is about that too. You will learn the true power of your bombshell candy. She who has the candy makes the rules. This book is about love sex, dating and relationships in addition to living your best life using the law of attraction and manifesting.

I met Ellie when I was in graduate school in Vermont. She was an affluent Southern belle in her 50s trying to reclaim the free-spirited artist she once had been. When we met she leaned in conspiratorially and whispered, “this is not who I really am.” I was confused because I didn’t know what she was referring to. Then she clarified that although she was an uptight South Carolina Daughters of the Confederacy housewife on the outside she did not feel comfortable in her skin. Cece said that she felt that she was living someone else’s life. Inside she was a wild, fun edgy woman. I write this book for Cece.
I met Mysterious when I did a reading for my debut novel “Dare” at Barnes and Noble Lincoln Center. Humanity confided that he saw himself as a Diana Ross’ little sister. He wanted to sing, dance and rock. I write this book for Mysterious.

If you take only one thing away from The Official Bombshell Handbook take this: Don’t die before you get to be you. Don’t finish living before you get to experience who you really are. You don’t want to leave the planet with your magic still hiding in your heart. You can’t finish your mission with your music still in you.

The Bombshell has many faces. As a TV personality and writer, as a woman with a failed marriage, and as a daughter, a friend and a sister, I realized that life seemed to be an endless series of boxes. Boxes that people put us in. Boxes that we snugly put ourselves in because it seems safer. But no matter how I tried, despite myself, no matter my best and worst efforts I wasn’t fitting in with the status quo. That’s when I decided to just be me. Everyone else was taken anyway.
Besides, I have too many curves and my hair is way too big to fit into any kind of box!
Yes, a “bombshell” is skilled in the fine art of seduction but she is also head over heels in love with herself. A bombshell seduces the world and knows how to use the power of her emotions to manifest a life that others only dream of. A bombshell has more power than she ever thought possible. Think she’s a witch? Well, it doesn’t matter because a true bombshell doesn’t care what you think.

There are some chicks in the media masquerading as Bombshells. The Superficial Bombshells. They tend to frequent music videos and men’s magazines. That’s not what this book is about. Bombshell is not a look. Bombshell is a lifestyle. Bombshell is an accolade. Here’s how to get it and bring your friends with you.
